They work to actively engage residents on a personal, individual level to address physical and emotional needs. In addition, caregivers must adhere to resident’s care plans, prepare meals, and ensure the home is clean and inviting. Successful caregivers take initiative, are service oriented, respect others, work well in a team, pay attention to details, and exhibit technical excellence.
