HR Specialist

Manchester Living has been in business since 2009. In that time, we have made a name for ourselves providing compassionate services for seniors, persons with degenerative diseases, and individuals undergoing post-operative care. Within the Manchester Living family there are two independent operations. They include Cambridge Caregivers, which offers Personal Assistant Services (Private in-home care) and Manchester Care Homes, which operates four boutique, eight-resident Assisted Living properties. Manchester Living is owned and operated out of Dallas, Texas with recent expansions into Fort Worth, and plans to grow beyond.

This role is foundational to the HR operation. As part of the Human Resource team this individual supports the success of over 200 remote employees. This position is key in fostering a smooth, warm, and professional experience from the very first moment an applicant calls or finds us online, through their entire employment experience.

Responsibilities

Pre-Employment Inquiry and Application flow integrity

  • Coordinate recruiting workflow from application to onboarding with guidance from recruiter.
  • Communicate status with candidates and referrers.
  • Perform necessary reference and eligibility verifications prior to initial interview.

Applicant file integrity

  • Ensure all initial reference, and pre-employment checks (NAR, EMR, MVR, Criminal.) are complete and in candidate file.

Orientation Day Support
  • Assist with documentation management process and verify all documents are signed and complete.
  • Complete DMVR check.
  • Update employee skills and certifications in system.
  • Set up new hires in payroll system.
  • Additional ad hoc Orientation support as needed.
Employee Files and Employee Programs
  • Manage Employee Recognition entry and filing.
  • Manage Employee Anniversary Program.
  • Manage expired licenses alerts.
  • Manage updates of employee skills and training records.
  • Manage annual HR file audits including annual NAR, EMR, Criminal, and DMVR checks.

Core Competencies and Qualifications

  • Experience in one or more of the following: Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits Administration, Training, Onboarding, HR Operations, Home Health/PAS Administration, Recruiting
  • 2-4 years of HR experience in a high-volume hourly wage company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.

Job Details
