Responsibilities

Manchester Living has been in business since 2009. In that time, we have made a name for ourselves providing compassionate services for seniors, persons with degenerative diseases, and individuals undergoing post-operative care. Within the Manchester Living family there are two independent operations. They include Cambridge Caregivers which offers Personal Assistant Services (Private in-home care) and Manchester Care Homes which operates four boutique, eight-resident Assisted Living properties. Manchester Living is owned and operated out of Dallas, Texas with recent expansions into Fort Worth, and plans to grow beyond.

The Scheduler plays a critical role in supporting the success of both Cambridge Caregivers and Manchester Care Homes. They must work closely with Operations and Communications, Quality Assurance, Community Liaisons, and HR to ensure effective communication and seamless operations across the organization. The scheduler has a direct impact on client satisfaction,
employee satisfaction, and business profitability. Leaders must lead by example, so this individual must be willing to do any of the jobs that they manage.

  • Position staff according to client needs and preferences as identified in their Individualized Service Plans
  • Analyze weekly Gross Profit Reports to identify trends, loss leaders, and
    financially beneficial engagements
  • Coordinate with the HR and Finance departments to ensure the accuracy of payroll and benefits administration
  • Ensure field staff follow internal policies and procedures and federal and state laws and regulations while on the job
  • Conduct second interviews and serve as the final say in Caregiver/ CNA hiring decisions
  • Orient new field staff on the WellSky system, how to sign up for shifts, and how best to communicate with office staff, clients in general, and engagement-specific communication.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and HR to address hiring and staffing priorities in the near term and to meet long-term strategic quarterly and yearly hiring goals.
  • Assume alternating on-call duties with the other member or members of the Scheduling Department
  • Communicate scheduling and personnel changes to staff, Community Liaisons, and clients in a timely manner

Core Competencies and Qualifications

  • Experience in one or more of the following: Scheduling, Office Administration,Reception, Customer Service, Human Resources, Training, Communications, Operations, Home Health Administration, PAS Administration, or Recruiting
  • 3 years + in a relevant field/s
  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate

  • Ability to perform a variety of functions, multi-task, and pick up ad hoc projects or new skill sets as directed.
  • Demonstrate initiative, discretion, enthusiasm, and desire to retain excellent caregivers.
  • MS Office experience
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems experience – preferred but not required
  • Scheduling Software experience (WellSky, Planday) – preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of the Home Health, Caregiving, and PAS industry – preferred but not required

Job Details

  • Must be located in the Dallas area or willing and able to commute to our corporate office at least three days per week
  • Must also be willing and able to work from home on weekends and outside of regular business hours
